    “Love and Time”
    By Phannapast “Yoon” Taychamaythakool, contemporary artist, Thailand

    Inspired by the epic Thai poem, “Phra Aphai Mani”, Yoon’s piece - “Love & Time” - tells of a quest to the ends of the Earth and beyond to find that “special something”. Her signature floral and faunal patterns illustrate a journey that parallels the process of creating The Balvenie, and the pursuit of ultimate craftsmanship.

    “For me, the fact that Balvenie whisky has gone through the meticulous process of ‘time’ to achieve the unique taste, feels like poetry,” shared Yoon, adding, “It’s like my design, which is inspired by classic Thai literature, that tells of a quest, a story beyond imagination.”
